Ringing in the changes.................

Congleton Christmas Festival including the Lights Switch on and Grand Lantern Parade will be held on a Saturday this year on 25th November from 10.00am -6.00pm.

Christmas Market in the High St and the pedestrian area with local produce and craft stalls 10.00-6.00pm

Local organisations and Charities market will be in the Bridestones area from 11.00-3.00pm

The usual local Congleton Market will be bigger and have extended hours to 6.00pm

Real reindeer will be joining us and Santa from 1.00pm – 5.00pm at the Peacock’s end of the pedestrian area

The procession will leave the top of Antrobus Street at 5.00pm and make its way to the town centre led by Sambamba Brazilian Drumming Band.

Lights Switch-on is 5.30pm

You can join in the lantern parade by making your own lantern at a public workshop in the Electric Picture House on Saturdays 4th, 11th, 18th of November any time between 10.30-3.30

Sambamba Drumming workshops also at the Electric Picture House, Monday evenings 6th and 13th November from 6.00pm-8.00pm

Workshops and materials are free but a donation of £1 towards the light for the lantern is always welcome

The workshops are great fun for all the family and we give you free reign to be as creative as you want.
