Adullam Homes Housing Association
Adullam Homes Housing Association is a specialist provider of quality housing and recovery services. Congleton Substance Recovery team offers high quality temporary accommodation, for adults from 16+ who are in recovery from addiction. We provide Tenancy Support and training, helping provide our tenants the tools to manage future tenancies when they are ready to move on.
We take referrals from many sources, people can self refer and do not need a local connection

We offer 121 Counselling or group counselling, practical support e.g. help with benefits, debt, form filling, workshops and drop-ins. Are things changing within your family – loss of a loved one, divorce, poor mental health, feeling alone, substance abuse. Don’t struggle alone.
British Red Cross – local services
Support at Home Service to support people for a short period of time – our friendly caring team provide free, confidential, emotional and practical support to people over 18 in the Cheshire East area (up to 2 weeks).
Mobility Aids – Service loans out wheelchairs and other equipment on a short term basis

Based in Keele, but with outreach in Congleton, you can get involved and support Caudwell Children in many ways. You could do a fundraiser, volunteer, complete a challenge, donate or join us in a corporate partnership.

We provide information and advice on a range of issues including; benefits, debt, housing, employment, family and consumer. Advice available via telephone, email or face to face.
Congleton Cares
Congleton Town Council and partners are working together to offer warm friendly spaces for residents impacted by the cost-of-living crisis. A ‘Congleton Cares’ activity leaflet has been produced featuring a timetable of activities taking place daily, weekly, fortnightly or some on a monthly basis. The leaflet also lists places of support which provide a warm welcome, advice, and comfort. The free leaflet is available from Congleton Information Centre, Congleton Library and Congleton Museum. Congleton Street Pastors
Congleton Street Pastors – Street Pastors and Prayer Pastors are volunteers from local churches who have a genuine concern for the community. Street Pastors main role is to care, listen and offer practical help usually from 9pm Saturday to 1am Sunday.
Congleton Talking Newspaper
(CTN) is a registered charity providing a free weekly service of audio USB sticks to people who struggle to read the Congleton Chronicle, Bear Necessities and other local publications.

Congleton Visually Impaired People’s Club
Congleton VIP Club, is a social group for adults affected by sight loss. Come along to our friendly group to meet others affected by sight loss, for fun, information and a chat. Our programme of activities includes games, talks, quizzes and occasional outings. There is a small charge which includes a light tea. Meets alternate Wednesdays 2pm–4pm, New Life Community Centre
Dementia Friendly Congleton
Dementia Friendly Congleton exists to raise awareness of Dementia and create a community where people living with dementia and their supporters feel welcome. DF run regular open sessions,(or in-house for organisations), offering guidance on effective communication with someone living with dementia. Leaflets are available from TIC, library, museum, GP surgeries. Volunteers needed to support events and train as Dementia Friends’ Ambassador to run the awareness sessions.

Diabetic Friends Group
Diabetic Friends Group brings together people whose lives are effected by diabetes and is a chance to share experiences and support one another. Meetings can offer valuable support from friendly, highly experienced personnel and talks by professional specialists. The group is affiliated to Diabetes UK and sponsored by Congleton Lions Club. East Cheshire Eye Society is an independent Charity, established in 1877. East Cheshire Eye Society provides information, advice and support for people affected by visual impairments. Friendly fortnightly Congleton Support Group
Pearls of Cheshire
Whilst supporting all women and children from all walks of life; we aim to provide culturally sensitive support for women and children of an ethnic minority background in East Cheshire, particularly in the Macclesfield area. We have a passion for providing holistic support to all women in this area and for ensuring that culture, language and immigration status aren’t a barrier to accessing support, such as, counselling, education, training, health and wellbeing, or to having their basic needs met.
Ruby’s Fund
Ruby’s Fund is a fully inclusive sensory centre and social cafe for all children and young people, especially those with disabilities and additional needs.
The centre has: a café, disabled changing room with hoist, sensory room and a new bespoke softplay area
And now we have a Mobile Sensory Bus Service.
The Centre offers: events, activities, recreational relaxation, educational activities, friendship and fun.

Westwood House Child Contact Centre
Child Contact Centres provide a safe neutral place for children to meet the mother or father who no longer lives at home with them.
Attendance is strictly by appointment only. We are an affiliated member of the National Association of Child Contact Centres and we
are run weekly by a team of trained volunteers managed by a Team Leader. There is a Centre Coordinator who is responsible for the overall running of the centre.
